Bespoke Access Platform for MRT Station

We provide solution for our clients problem for maintenance works at MRT stations which requires access above escalators and void openings at the concourse area. These bespoke solutions were designed to be interchangeable between different stations with the same problem. Duration of installation and dismantling of the structure need to be fast within few hours slot of midnight station closure timing. One of the schemes is where the platform is cantilevered from the station entrance towards the escalator run down. In this scheme we designed so that the installation of the truss can be made from one supported side and then rolled outwards on sets of roller arrangement. All the trusses are aluminium which ensures manual handling is easy and fast. Not only design and supply, we provide bespoke training to our clients maintenance team at site too.
