C & S Engineer (Temporary Work Design)

We’re searching for the ideal candidate with a strong background in the construction industry (preferably in scaffolding/formwork) who will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing and developing Temporary Works Design scheme that aligns with company product line and strategy. You will be pivotal in turning ideas into tangible solutions that meet customer needs and drive business growth.

Job Responsibilities:

To lead and support the Engineering Team to accomplish the job scope as below:

  • Responsible for the design and engineering calculation for new enquiry or on-going projects, by utilising company product lines & solution.
  • Responsible for all product testing & compliance to meet local & international regulation. To attend material and structure load tests and audits to comply with industry regulations and standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentations, such as Project Proposal, Method Statement, Risk Assessment and any required paperwork.
  • Support in all aspects of drafting-related issues and in designing/ generation of Bill of Quantities (BQ)/ proposal drawing for projects
  • Plan and assist engineering project assigned by the superior with an engineering study, timeline planning, manpower arrangement, and cost control.
  • Provide technical support to other departments and external clients by addressing any design or technical related inquiries or issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Other related qualification is acceptable with more than 2 years experiences in Temporary Works Design.
  • Minimum 2 years in construction background (preferably scaffolding)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/Robot Structural Analysis/Solidwork drafting of scaffold structure is an added advantage.
  • An understanding of the logic of engineering drawing and principles
  • Familiarity with using CAD software (eg. AutoCAD and SolidWork)
